Eleven years ago, a terrible fire separated Alice forever from her parents and left deep, unhealed marks in the fragile mind of the girl. Alice was admitted to the Routledge Insane Asylum, where she learned how to run from the demons that settled in her mind, further and further into a fictional country, Wonderland. Even now, ten years later, when she was finally free, her mind has never recovered from the effects of severe psychological trauma.

The crippled consciousness cannot understand why strange visions, dreams and memories cause such horror. Therefore, she again tries to escape from them in Wonderland. She always did. While traveling through the fictional world, she is looking for what she was deprived of in the "real": a sense of security, understanding and awareness of what happened. But during her absence, Wonderland has changed: a terrible evil has settled in the once serene world. Can Alice save Wonderland - and herself - from the madness that has consumed everything around her?
